You are hiking in the woods with your den. The first boy in the line steps over a log and disturbs a bee hive. Everyone runs away, but your victim gets stung by a honey bee. He tells you he doesn’t know if he is allergic to bees or not. |

1) Be sure the area is safe
and you are far enough away
from the bee’s nest. 2) Scrape away the stinger with the edge of a knife blade. Don’t pinch it with your fingers. 3) Wash the area with soap and water. 4) Cover the area to keep it clean. 5) Use
an ice pack to reduce any swelling. 6) Watch the victim for signs of an allergic reaction. -nausea
and vomiting -difficulty breathing -sweating
and salivating much more than normal 7) If there are signs of allergic reaction, GET HELP IMEDIATELY. |
