Buckeye Daycamp in Worthington
The Buckeye District Daycamp in
Worthington was held on the weekend of June 10, 11 at
Grace Brethren Church. Roughly 85 scouts and tagalongs
attended. They rode a hovercraft, shot slingshots, bows and arrows, and
played ultimate frisbee. Over 5 dozen eggs survived their
ride in a water rocket, some eggs didn't. All of the scouts
built model rockets which were flown at the closing ceremony.
Check out the picture gallery at the bottom of the page. If you have
daycamp pictures you would like to see posted, contact Al Magnuson.
Over 40 scout and adult volunteers helped host the daycamp.
Their efforts made this event possible. Thankyou!!!

Iludium Q32
Explosive Space Modulator
A prototype of the Iludium Q32 Explosive Space Modulator was presented
at the March Pack meeting. The scouts were very disappointed that
it did not actually explode. District camp staff will be working
night and day to correct this shortcoming before opening of daycamp.
